Where is your store?

Our boutique is based at:

12 Goose Gate, Hockley, Nottingham, NG1 1FF

There is on street parking in Hockley or the nearest multi storey is on Stoney Street NG1 1LS, two minutes walk away.

Opening hours- Monday to Saturday 10am-5.30pm

Shipping

We ship within the UK, Europe and the USA, anyone from outside these areas is welcome to make an enquiry.  Our standard UK post is Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, please allow 7 days from placing your order via this method to receive your goods, if you have not received your order after 7 days please contact us.  Delivery charges are per item (based on weight), then a flat cost for the postal area selected.

Returns

If you are not satisfied with your goods please return them including the advice slip to- Returns Department, A Vintage Obsession, 12 Goose Gate, Hockley, Nottingham, NG2 6LH.  Goods must be returned in the same condition that you received them in and with all tags in tact.  You must email your intent to return an item within 48 hours of receipt, and return the item within 7 days of receipt.  Refunds will be credited to the original payment method.  We do not credit postage costs. We reserve the right to refuse refunds on any items we believe have obviously been worn or damaged since dispatch, or items returned to us outside of the 7 day return period. This does not affect your statutory rights. 

Sizing

As you know vintage sizing can vary greatly from those we use today, therefore we do not rely on any labels and instead measure each garment and provide you with the aproximate measurements to compare with your own, and the modern UK size equivalent.  Remember when checking measurements that you will need a couple of inches spare for a comfortable fit.  If in doubt contact us.

Condition

Our aim is to supply quality goods, but obviously vintage clothing has been pre-loved so the odd bit of wear and tear is to be expected. We do not sell anything that we deem unwearable and if there are any major flaws this will be mentioned within the description. To help you even further, we have compiled the following condition guide:

Excellent vintage condition
Very little wear or looks unworn, with no damage or staining.

Very good vintage condition
Some wear and tear for example light bobbling or an odd snag.  There may be an odd mark or stain that could possibly be washed out.

Good vintage condition
The item may have a tear or small hole,  There could be noticeable marks or stains.  These flaws will always be included in the item description.
